First Robots
The first BristleBot kits were developed in September of 2023, marking the beginning of Kits4Cause.
For many students, technical education is unattainable. Without the necessary resources to cultivate students’ love for STEM, their interest can quickly decline, leading to a lack of diversity in higher education and careers. Affordable robotics kits are especially difficult to find due to the price of materials for high-quality robotics education.
With our kits, students will be able to focus on the beauty of engineering without needing to worry about the costs. Students collaborate to figure out how to build a robot, allowing them to feel included, confident, and a sense of belonging within their community. We believe every student should have the opportunity to pursue their passions.

Western Wake Children's Business Fair
At the 2023 Western Wake Children's Business Fair, we spoke with dozens of kids about robotics and fundraised by selling our BristleBot kits. We were also awarded the Most Original Business Idea at the fair!
3-Wheeled Car Kit Developed
After countless hours of research and design, our second kit, the 3-Wheeled Car, was created, which taught more advanced concepts than the BristleBot.
First Workshop @ Laurel Park Elementary YMCA
We hosted our first workshop at the Laurel Park Elementary YMCA, providing 40 BristleBot kits and 30 3-Wheeled Car kits to students. The students absolutely loved the kits!
Through months of experience, we’ve been able to design uniquely educational and inexpensive kits for students. We’ve provided kits and hosted workshops for students within our communities as well as FIRST teams in other areas.
Kits4Cause was started from the bedroom floor of our founder, who simply wanted to share the beauty of robotics with the world. Now, we’re growing to have nationwide impacts and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
